About

Rooted in a deep respect for the land and shaped by nearly 50 years of family experience in the beverage industry, the AtTheJoy family of brands began with Lytle-Barnett—a vision founded by Andy Lytle. Inspired by the elegance of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Lytle-Barnett set out to blend Oregon authenticity with French tradition, creating exceptional vintage sparkling wines.

That vision soon took physical shape in the Eola-Amity Hills with the creation of AtTheJoy—a 6,500-square-foot, six-bedroom retreat nestled among the vines. Available as a private rental, AtTheJoy offers guests the rare opportunity to stay in the heart of wine country, immersed in the vineyard and sweeping views.

That vineyard surrounding AtTheJoy is our 24-acre Anahata Vineyard. With humble roots as a hay farm, the 24-acre property was transformed in 2019 into a thriving vineyard planted to heritage clones of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Anahata, the Sanskrit word for the heart chakra, reflects both the vineyard’s vitality and its emotional significance—each block named after translations of the word “joy.”

From this foundation, Aubaine was born—a boutique label focused exclusively on single-vineyard, estate-grown wines. Pronounced “Ō-Bane,” and meaning “windfall” in French, Aubaine honors the serendipity of land, timing, and terroir. This theme continued with the acquisition of Windfall Vineyard, a second estate property of 117 acres perched high in the Eola-Amity Hills with panoramic views over the Van Duzer Corridor. Fruit from Windfall will debut in upcoming vintages of both Lytle-Barnett and Aubaine.

To share these wines, the Lytle-Barnett | Aubaine Tasting Room opened in downtown Dundee—a welcoming space that brings the spirit of the vineyards into the heart of Oregon wine country.
