AUBAINE

two vineyards. one ava.

Aubaine begins with a word. In French, aubaine means windfall — an unexpected gift, something that arrives unforeseen and changes everything. It is a name chosen deliberately for a project built on the belief that great still wine from the Eola-Amity Hills is not merely possible, but inevitable.

Founded by Andy Lytle and shaped by Director of Winemaking Isabelle Meunier, Aubaine is devoted exclusively to single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from two estate sites: Anahata Vineyard and Windfall Vineyard, both situated on the western edge of the Eola-Amity Hills, fully exposed to the cooling influence of the Van Duzer Corridor. These are wines of place — specific, unmediated, and unhurried.

The name is the philosophy. A windfall is not manufactured. It is recognized, tended, and shared. Every bottle of Aubaine is that gift, extended to you.
